Russian troops continue attempts to advance in the Kharkiv and Sumy regions, actively using aviation but avoiding the use of armored vehicles. The spokesman for the State Border Guard Service, Andriy Demchenko, reported that the situation is very tense, with particular fighting in the Vovchansk direction and in the vicinity of the settlement of Stroivka in the Kharkiv region.

“In the direction of the Sumy and Kharkiv regions, the enemy is quite actively using aviation to strike... specifically in the Vovchansk direction and towards the settlement of Stroivka. There, the enemy does not cease attempts to advance deeper into the territory of our state: using infantry units.”

According to the spokesman, the occupiers refrain from using armored vehicles, possibly due to fears of losses or resource limitations. This indicates a change in the tactics of the Russian troops, who are now betting on aviation and infantry, avoiding the risk of losing heavy equipment.

Conclusion

Russian troops continue active operations in the Kharkiv and Sumy regions, using aviation and infantry, but avoiding the use of armored vehicles. The change in tactics indicates caution or limited resources on the part of the enemy.
