'I don’t know any other musicians who have tried to be on the front lines... But an artist must earn the trust of the soldiers,' said Arsen Mirzoyan.
Together with his wife, Tonya Matvienko, Mirzoyan regularly fulfills military requests and raises funds for various units. Most of his concerts have a charitable component, and on average, the family accumulates one million hryvnias per month, which is directed to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
'On average, we manage to accumulate, pool, and spend the equivalent of one million hryvnias per month. I’m surprised myself every time we pull it off, because the average donation amount is dropping,' Mirzoyan noted.
Additionally, the musician often converts private concerts into aid for the military. He emphasized that this is a responsibility of any public figure.
