Drone Attack Leads to Power Outages in Odesa Region
As a result of the night-time drone attack on energy facilities, consumers in the Odesa region remain without power as of the morning of October 11, reports Ukrenergo.
Energy workers began emergency recovery operations immediately after the attack, as soon as it was safe to do so. Their aim is to restore the operation of damaged equipment as quickly as possible and to provide electricity to consumers.
Status After Previous Missile-Drone Attack
Regarding the consequences of the large-scale missile-drone attack on October 10 - as of the morning of October 11, consumers in all affected regions have already received the necessary assistance, and emergency outages are not being implemented. However, due to damages caused by previous attacks, 'Chernihivoblenergo' is forced to implement scheduled outages for one hour in the region.
Electricity consumption remains at a high level. However, Ukrenergo urges Ukrainians to use electricity wisely due to the limited productivity of solar power plants under cloudy weather conditions and increased demand for energy from the grid.
After the previous missile-drone attack on October 10, all affected regions have already received the necessary assistance, but some energy supply companies continue to implement restrictions. Ukrainians are urged to pay attention to the rational use of electricity under the restrictions.
