In the Kharkiv region, traffic is temporarily restricted on two territorial roads due to shelling of the Pechenihy Dam by Russian forces. This is reported by the publication 'Glavkom' referring to the Service for Restoration and Development of Infrastructure in the Kharkiv region.

The Service for Restoration and Development of Infrastructure in the Kharkiv region reports the temporary closure of traffic on two territorial roads:

  • T-21-11 Chuhuiv – Pechenihy – Velykyi Burluk near the village of Pechenihy;

  • T-21-04 Kharkiv – Vovchansk – Chuhunivka checkpoint near the village of Staryi Saltiv.

The restrictions have been imposed due to enemy shelling, which caused dangerous damage to the road infrastructure and made safe passage impossible. Currently, specialists are working on-site, conducting inspections and priority recovery measures.

To ensure the movement of vehicles, a detour route has been organized: Chuhuiv – Korobochyne – Lebyazhe – Prymorske – Khotomlya – Vovchansk.

Drivers are asked to plan their trips in advance and pay close attention to temporary road signs.

Let us remind you that on December 7, Russian troops shelled the Pechenihy Reservoir Dam in the Kharkiv region.
