On the night of July 5, 2025, Russian occupation forces carried out a massive drone attack on the city of Chuhuiv in the Kharkiv region, reports Glavkom citing the State Emergency Service. As a result of this strike, 11 people were injured, including two children.
Rescue services immediately arrived at the scene to mitigate the effects of the shelling. A significant fire broke out at one of the city's facilities, which firefighters are currently trying to extinguish. Another house and the post office building were damaged as a result of the drones hitting them, and a fire also broke out nearby, which was promptly extinguished by rescuers. Additionally, private houses and cars were damaged.
The State Emergency Service has mobilized forces and resources to mitigate the aftermath of the attack
To manage the aftermath of the attack, significant forces and resources of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine were involved: 93 rescuers and 29 units of equipment, including sappers, medical personnel, and a firefighting train.
