Attack on engineering infrastructure in the Belgorod region
The attack on engineering infrastructure resulted in 556 thousand people being left without electricity and heating in the Belgorod region. This situation was a consequence of the nighttime shelling that occurred on January 9, which also affected the Russian cities of Oryol and Belgorod.
According to the provided information, 556 thousand people were affected in six municipal entities that were left without electricity. Additionally, 1920 apartment buildings were left without heating, complicating the situation for residents. Almost 200 thousand people are also deprived of access to water and sewage, which adds to the crisis in the region.
