Attack on Kyiv: 25 injured and a difficult situation with electricity supply
The situation with electricity supply in Kyiv remains challenging. Restoration of electricity on the right bank is ongoing, while emergency outages are taking place on the left bank. As of 5 PM, 25 people have been injured as a result of the Russian attack on the capital, including five rescuers. Unfortunately, four people lost their lives due to this incident, while 32 individuals were saved.
The Russian army used a wide arsenal of means, including:
- 242 drones
- 13 ballistic missiles
- One medium-range ballistic missile 'Oreshnik'
- 22 cruise missiles
This indicates the seriousness of the threat faced by the residents of Kyiv.
Government Actions and Support
Yulia Svyrydenko, a government representative, noted that the situation with electricity in Kyiv remains the most complex. She also reported that emergency outages are being used in most of the left bank, and the restoration work on the electricity supply is in the final stages. According to her, the government is providing all necessary assistance to complete the restoration work as quickly as possible.
The situation remains under control, and all efforts are directed towards restoring normal life in the capital.
