On the night of October 17, the Russians massively attacked Kryvyi Rih with drones. Air defense equipment was operating in the region and in the sky over Kryvyi Rih – 22 drones were shot down, but some still managed to hit. This was reported by 'Hromadske' citing the head of the military administration of Kryvyi Rih, Oleksandr Vilkul.
«In Kryvyi Rih, the occupiers struck infrastructure facilities. As a result, more than 10 hits caused fires at the facilities. All emergency services were dispatched to the scene. Fires were extinguished at all locations. Most importantly, thank God – without casualties. Other consequences of the enemy attack are being clarified, and territory checks are underway», – the message states.
Villages left without electricity include: Avanhard, Verabove, and Myrivske. According to the authorities, the trolleybus to Myrivske is temporarily not operating due to a lack of electricity, but a bus has been sent in its place.
Attack on Nikopol and Pokrovsk community
Meanwhile, in the Nikopol district, the enemy attacked Nikopol and the Pokrovsk community with heavy artillery and drones. Women aged 69 and 89 were injured. Three apartment buildings, four private houses, and three cars were damaged.
