Attack on the city of Lozova on the night of August 5
On the night of August 5, militants launched another attack on the city of Lozova in the Kharkiv region using strike drones. Rescuers documented damage to transportation infrastructure, as well as fires in six buildings.
Among the hotspots are administrative buildings, warehouses, and the station roof. A total of 45 rescuers and 13 vehicles from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine were involved in mitigating the consequences of the attack.
On August 5, Lozova experienced the most extensive attack since the beginning of the conflict. The attack resulted in casualties among civilians and significant destruction of critical infrastructure.
According to reports, enemy forces used 46 strike drones Shahed and imitation devices for other types of drones.
During the night attack on the city of Lozova, enemy forces inflicted significant damage on the local population and infrastructure. Rescuers responded quickly to the situation, but the consequences of this tragedy remain serious for the city and its residents.
