Attack on Sumy: there are casualties, damaged houses

On the evening of July 21, around 10:30 PM, the Russians struck Sumy. According to the regional military administration, the Kovpaki district was hit, reports 'Glavkom'.



As noted by the Sumy regional military administration, five apartment buildings, a shopping center, and 18 cars were damaged as a result of the Russian strike. Two people were hospitalized: a 60-year-old woman and a 38-year-old man, who are receiving medical assistance.



Preliminary reports indicate that 12 people sought medical help.


Medical personnel, psychologists, and emergency services are working at the site of the impact. The acting mayor of Sumy, Artem Kobzar, reported that the enemy struck a residential area with guided aerial bombs.



It should be noted that on the same evening, Russia launched drone strikes on the civilian infrastructure of the Putivl community in Sumy region. The regional military administration reported that the number of people injured in the enemy attacks in the Putivl community has risen to 11. Among the injured is a five-year-old child, and a 24-year-old injured person, in serious condition, was hospitalized.



The strike on Sumy and neighboring regions has led to serious material and human losses. These attacks pose a threat to the civilian population and require immediate response and conflict resolution within the framework of international cooperation.
