Russian forces launched a new strike on Sumy using drones
A combat drone hit the city center, specifically Independence Square, damaging the building of the Sumy Regional State Administration. This was reported by the head of the Sumy Regional State Administration, Oleg Grigoriev.
According to Grigoriev, this attack was aimed at a civilian object and is not the first one. Fortunately, this time there were no casualties or injuries. Currently, rescue services are working at the scene, conducting an inspection of the area.
«Russia continues to terrorize peaceful cities. But Sumy stands strong. We work and fight against all odds,» emphasized Oleg Grigoriev.
Earlier, due to this attack, part of the residents of Sumy and the Sumy region were temporarily left without electricity. Now specialists are working on restoring power supply and eliminating the consequences of this incident, reported the head of the regional administration.
