Drones also attacked the city of Kam'yanske in Dnipropetrovsk region, resulting in powerful explosions and power outages. Additionally, according to information on the network, the Dnieperhydroenergo was attacked.

The US imposed sanctions against the Russian Federation

Due to the lack of serious intentions from Russia regarding the resolution of the conflict in Ukraine, the US decided to increase pressure on the Kremlin and reduce its revenues. The sanctions affected the two largest Russian oil companies, as well as their subsidiaries.

Explosions in Russia

In the Chelyabinsk region, explosions also occurred in the city of Kopeysk as a result of a drone attack. This happened at a factory that produces ammunition for various military equipment. The governor of the region confirmed the fact of the attack.

Trump canceled the meeting with Putin

US President Donald Trump canceled the planned meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, considering it unreasonable at this moment, while leaving the possibility for future negotiations. Trump also hopes for an understanding between Putin and Ukrainian President Zelensky.

As a result of the drone attacks on Kyiv and the Chelyabinsk region, civilian objects and people were harmed. The US responded with new sanctions against Russia, deepening the tension in relations between the countries. President Trump's position on negotiations with Putin remains uncertain, however, the possibility of future negotiations is still on the table.
