Hostile Strikes Hit Dnipropetrovsk Region
Three people were injured and residential buildings and infrastructure were damaged following hostile strikes on the Dnipropetrovsk region. The attacks occurred in the Nikopol district and the Synelnykove district.
Strikes Across Nikopol and Synelnykove Districts
In the Nikopol district, the regional center and several communities were targeted, including:
- Pokrovska
- Myrivska
- Marhanetska
- Chervonohryhorivska
The injured include an 18-year-old girl and a 47-year-old woman. The strikes damaged two apartment buildings and four private houses, along with outbuildings, vehicles, power lines, and gas pipelines. A fire broke out at one property but was successfully extinguished.
In the Synelnykove district, an unmanned aerial vehicle attacked the Vasylkivska community. A 74-year-old woman was wounded. The attack caused a fire at a private home, which was also put out, and one dwelling was destroyed.
These events are part of a wider pattern of attacks on Ukrainian regions far from the front lines. The continued targeting of civilian areas and infrastructure severely impacts the humanitarian situation for local residents, threatening their safety and livelihoods. Authorities and emergency services are working to manage the aftermath and provide aid to those affected.
