Six Injured in Russian Strike on Dnipropetrovsk Region, Including a Pregnant Woman and a Child

Внаслідок обстрілу Дніпропетровщини постраждали шестеро людей, серед яких вагітна жінка та дитина.

Strike on Krynychanska Community

Russian forces launched an attack on the Krynychanska community in the Dnipropetrovsk region. The strike hit near a gas station, leaving six people wounded. Among the injured are a 10-year-old boy, hospitalized with moderate injuries, and a 21-year-old pregnant woman. Additionally, a 40-year-old woman was admitted to the hospital in serious condition. Three other adults sustained injuries and are currently in moderate condition.

Aftermath of the Attack

The attack damaged a bus that was carrying around 40 children. Fortunately, the children had already disembarked before the strike, likely saving them from harm. A truck also caught fire during the shelling. Emergency responders, law enforcement, and State Emergency Service personnel are currently on site, working to manage the aftermath.

This incident highlights the ongoing hostilities in eastern Ukraine and their severe toll on civilians. Attacks on peaceful communities, especially those involving locations where children are present, have drawn international concern and underscore the urgent need to protect non-combatants in conflict zones. The swift response from local services demonstrates their readiness in dangerous situations, but the victims still require immediate medical care and support.

The recent attack on the Krynychanska community is not an isolated incident. Just days earlier, a drone strike on Dnipro resulted in rising casualties, with seven injured, including two children. Such repeated assaults on civilian areas highlight the escalating dangers faced by non-combatants in the region.
