Drone Strike on Mykolaiv

In the early hours of April 20, the southern Ukrainian city of Mykolaiv came under attack from Russian 'Shahed' attack drones, resulting in significant damage and civilian injuries. Mykolaiv, a key port city, has been a frequent target since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion.

Recent Attacks on the City

This incident follows a series of previous strikes on the city. On March 4, an attack on a transport infrastructure facility caused a fire, lightly injuring and hospitalizing one man. Another attack occurred on the evening of February 23 at a disused gas station, injuring seven patrol police officers, all of whom were hospitalized.

As a result of the Shahed drone attack on the city, three men aged 19, 23, and 42 were injured. Two of the victims were hospitalized, and the third received aid on site. A private house was damaged.
