The Audit Board of the Ukraine Facility presented the first report on the use of EU funds at a meeting with the Minister of Economy, Environment and Agricultural Policy of Ukraine Øleksii Sobolev. This is already the third such meeting, as the Ministry of Economy is responsible for monitoring the implementation of the Ukraine Plan.
The report highlighted the need for increased transparency in the use of EU funds, the importance of internal audit and the role of the State Audit Office, as well as the need to take into account the risks of fraud, errors and misuse of funds in overall management.
