The collection of exclusive and rare supercars that belonged to former Syrian President Bashar Assad was showcased at major auctions in Damascus. The new head of state, Ahmad al-Shar, officially opened the event. The funds raised during the auction will be directed to the Syrian Development Fund to support the country's economic development. This initiative is not only interesting for collectors but will also contribute to the overall dynamics of the economy.
Best Examples at the Auction
Three exceptional supercars were presented at the auction: Ferrari F50, Mercedes SL65 AMG Black Series, and Audi R8. The Ferrari F50, which cost $3-4 million, is considered the most expensive of them. The Mercedes SL65 AMG Black Series, released in 300 copies with a market value of around $500,000, and the Audi R8 with a 5.2-liter V10 engine producing 525 hp also generated significant interest among auction participants.
