Пожежа на підстанції залишила без електрики тисячі жителів Раменського.

Emergency power outage in Ramenskoye

In Ramenskoye, Moscow Region, an emergency power outage occurred, leaving 100 thousand people without electricity. The incident happened due to a fire on the bus at the substation in Donino. As a result of the outage, traffic lights and streetlights are not working, complicating movement in the city.

The administration of the Ramenskoye urban district reported that switching consumers to backup power sources is currently being carried out where technically feasible. The estimated completion time for the work is two hours.

Impact on infrastructure and safety

It is worth noting that in the territory of the Russian Federation, Ukrainian drones struck five substations, with a total capacity of 5066 megavolt-amperes. The task was completed by the first separate center for unmanned systems, which is a transformed 14th SBS regiment.

The emergency power outage in Ramenskoye underscores the vulnerability of infrastructure in the context of modern military conflicts.

The use of unmanned aerial vehicles to target critical energy infrastructure highlights new methods of warfare that can significantly affect the daily lives of the population. It also emphasizes the need to strengthen security systems at strategic facilities to ensure the stability of power supply in regions facing threats.
