According to the instruction from 'Ukrenergo', schedules for emergency outages have been introduced in the Sumy region. This was reported by 'Glavkom' citing 'Sumyoblenergo'.
It is noted that the reason for implementing the emergency outage schedules is the consequences of the Russian attack on the energy sector. Currently, outages are in effect for 10 consumer groups.
As is known, emergency outage schedules are implemented in emergency cases when it is necessary to urgently reduce the amount of power consumed from the network in a very short time. In such cases, the duration of the blackout cannot be predicted, as this is an emergency situation. The main reason for the imposition of any restrictions is the military aggression of Russia against Ukraine and the damage to energy facilities due to shelling by the Russian army.
New circumstances of the enemy attack in Kyiv
It is reminded that on the night of October 10, the capital was once again subjected to an enemy attack. Damage to residential buildings and civilian infrastructure has been recorded in several districts of the city.
In the Pechersk district, debris caused a fire in a high-rise building. Rescuers saved twenty people, nine were injured, and five were handed over to medical personnel. In the Podilsky and Desniansky districts, debris fell on open territory - with no fires or destruction.
As reported, metro train movement in Kyiv will start with changes due to the complicated energy situation. Information about the changes in the movement will be broadcast at the stations, as well as through the official pages of the Kyiv City State Administration and the metro.
Due to the Russian attack on energy facilities, emergency outage schedules have been introduced in the Sumy region, leading to power outages for ten consumer groups. Consequences of the enemy attack have also been recorded in Kyiv, resulting in damage to buildings and changes in metro movement.
