On Monday, October 13, emergency power outage schedules were implemented for electricity consumers in Poltava, Kirovohrad, and Sumy regions. This is reported by 'Glavkom' citing local energy companies.
It is noted that at the instruction of NEC 'Ukrenergo', emergency outage schedules have been introduced in the Sumy region. Currently, power outage schedules are in effect for four consumer groups, 'Sumyoblenergo' notes.
It should be reminded that emergency power outage schedules (GAV) are applied in emergency situations when it is necessary to immediately reduce the amount of power consumed from the grid. The duration of the outages cannot be predicted, as this is an emergency situation. The main reason for the imposition of restrictions is the military aggression of Russia and damage to energy facilities due to shelling by the Russian army.
Emergency power outages in Dnipropetrovsk and Donetsk regions
On the night of Sunday, October 12, the enemy attacked energy and gas transport infrastructure, resulting in damage to three regions. As a result of the attack, energy facilities in Donetsk, Odesa, and Chernihiv regions were damaged.
Due to the implementation of emergency power outage schedules in the regions, there may be interruptions in electricity supply for consumers. Specialists are working on-site for the prompt restoration of power supply.
