On the morning of December 5, emergency power outages occurred in the Kharkiv, Sumy, Poltava, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, and partially Kirovohrad regions. This information was provided by Glavkom, citing the National Electric Company 'Ukrenergo'.

Currently, emergency power outages are being implemented in the specified regions, which will be canceled after the situation in the energy system stabilizes. The reason for this is the increased electricity consumption by 1.5% compared to the previous day. Some regions were affected by attacks from Russia, resulting in damage to energy equipment and power outages for consumers. Emergency restoration works have already begun.

The company 'Ukrenergo' calls on citizens to conserve energy, limit the use of high-power electrical appliances, and move energy-intensive processes to nighttime hours after 10:00 PM.

Currently, in all regions of Ukraine, there are schedules for power outages ranging from 0.5 to 3 shifts.

Ukraine is facing the issue of emergency power outages in several regions due to increased consumption and damage to equipment as a result of hostile actions.
