Chernihiv region introduced three phases of power outages: where there is still no electricity

В Чернігівській області запроваджено три етапи відключення електроенергії: у яких місцях все ще немає світла.

In some regions of Ukraine, emergency power outages have occurred due to a complicated situation in the energy system caused by previous Russian shelling. This was reported by the company 'Ukrenergo' on Thursday, October 16.

The transmission system operator has also implemented power limitation schedules for industrial consumers in all regions of the country. Such measures have become necessary due to the significant load on the energy system after hostile attacks on energy infrastructure.

The situation in Chernihiv region

The most difficult situation has developed in the Chernihiv region, where the local distribution system operator is currently applying three phases of hourly outages for domestic consumers.

'Ukrenergo' emphasized that the situation in the energy system may change throughout the day. Ukrainians are advised to monitor updates on the pages of regional distribution system operators. The company also urged citizens to use electricity sparingly, as this will reduce the likelihood of implementing outages or shorten their duration.

Consecutive shellings by Russian troops have led to a complicated situation in Ukraine's energy system, resulting in emergency power outages and restrictions for industrial consumers. The greatest strain is felt in the Chernihiv region, where three phases of hourly outages are being implemented. 'Ukrenergo' urges citizens to be prudent with electricity, as this will help avoid similar restrictions in the future.
