Heating Pipeline Damage on Paton Bridge Resolved

Kyivteploenergo's emergency repair crews have successfully fixed the damaged heating pipeline on the Paton Bridge. The restoration work took less than a day to complete, and heat supply to customers is now being re-established.

The rupture in the heating main beneath the bridge occurred on the morning of March 22. To address the fault, specialists with certification for high-altitude work were deployed, along with specialized equipment. During the repairs, heat supply was temporarily suspended for buildings in two neighborhoods of the Dniprovskyi district.

According to the municipal utility's press service, 'Repairs took less than 24 hours, and the process of restoring heat to customers is now ongoing. Building managers are ensuring the circulation of the heat carrier within internal systems to deliver heating to apartments.'

Resolving this damage to the Paton Bridge heating network is a crucial step in ensuring stable heat supply for residents of the Dniprovskyi district. The speed with which the repair work was conducted demonstrates the readiness of municipal services to respond to emergencies and maintain the city's essential infrastructure. Restoring heating is particularly vital during the colder period when demand for it remains high. The Paton Bridge is a major crossing over the Dnipro River and a critical piece of Kyiv's transport and utility infrastructure.

While the recent repairs on the Paton Bridge have restored heating to affected areas, it's important to note that earlier pipeline leaks had already disrupted service for residents in nearby neighborhoods.
