Tragedy in India: young basketball player passes away
A terrible tragedy occurred in India – during practice, teenager Hardik Khaty died from a blow to the chest by the rim while playing basketball. The boy, who was only a 16-year-old member of the country's junior national team, died even before the medics arrived, despite his teammates immediately trying to provide assistance. This horrific event took place in northern India, in the state of Haryana.
The family of the deceased believes that officials are to blame for failing to take timely measures to repair the sports facility. The basketball academy coach had repeatedly complained about the state of the equipment, but no action was taken.
Tragic loss of Ukrainian football player
We remind that former Ukraine national football team player Andriy Viktorovych Polunin passed away at the age of 55.
His death occurred after a veterans' match in Lutsk. Andriy Viktorovych was a well-known football player who played for several teams and even played in Germany. He had 9 matches and 1 goal for the national team of Ukraine.

The 26-year-old discus thrower was a youth champion of Ukraine and a prizewinner in the adult championship. He served as an officer in the National Guard of Ukraine and died at the front in the Donetsk region, leaving behind a wife and a small daughter.
