In 2025, the men's national basketball team of Ukraine demonstrated impressive results, achieving five consecutive victories in the World Cup qualifiers. A key role in this success was played by Oleksandr Kovlyar, who scored 126 points over the year, becoming the team’s best player.

Throughout the year, 20 players played for the Ukrainian national team. It is important to note that Pavlo Krutous finished the year without scoring any points. Among the most remarkable matches, we can highlight the game against Slovakia, where Kovlyar scored 33 points, as well as the victory over Denmark with a score of 88:71. Another important moment was the game between Georgia and Ukraine, which ended with a score of 79:92 in favor of the Ukrainian team.
