The father of famous footballer Munir Nasraoui, who currently plays for Barcelona, feels frustrated with the voting results for the Ballon d'Or. According to Diario Sport, Munir took second place, while the winner was Ousmane Dembélé from PSG.

"It's not theft, but moral damage has been done. Lamin Jamal is not just the best footballer in the world, or I'm not a father, but he is truly unmatched. Some amazing situation has occurred. But next year, the Ballon d'Or will definitely come to Spain," said Munir Nasraoui's father.

It is also worth noting that the holder of the Ballon d'Or for 2025 is Ousmane Dembélé.

Historically, it can be said that Ukrainian footballers have won the Ballon d'Or three times. Shevchenko won the award in 2004, Belanov in 1986, and Blokhin in 1975. They all played for Kyiv's Dynamo under the leadership of Valeriy Lobanovskyi. Shevchenko won while playing for Milan.

In the qualifying match for the 2026 World Cup, the Ukrainian national team drew with Azerbaijan, with a score of 1:1. The next match will be against the Icelandic national team on October 10.

Previously, the Ukrainian team lost to France with a score of 0:2 in a qualifying match for the 2026 World Cup. The game took place at the stadium in Wrocław, Poland, where fans supported the team with a banner "Fortress of Europe."

Ukrainian footballers continue to fight for the right to compete in the 2026 World Cup, and Munir Nasraoui's father remains outraged by the Ballon d'Or voting results.
