Drone attack in the village of Sokilnyky near Lviv
On the night of December 11, a drone flew into a private house in the village of Sokilnyky near Lviv, the National Police of Lviv region reported.
According to police information, a report of the explosion was received around 04:00. Fortunately, no one was injured in the impact. However, the house sustained serious damage – the roof, facade, and several living spaces were damaged.
Criminal proceedings and investigation
The investigation has initiated criminal proceedings under the article regarding completed attempted intentional murder (part 2, article 15, item 5, part 2, article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The maximum penalty under this article is imprisonment for up to 15 years.
Law enforcement officers and specialized services are working at the scene. The circumstances of the incident are being established. It is also worth noting that the last air alert in the Lviv region sounded at night on December 7.
Other incidents of drone attacks
Recently, on December 11, in the city of Nossivka in the Nizhyn district, a person was injured by the fall of a Russian drone. This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. The SES units quickly extinguished the fire, and the victim was taken to the hospital.
On the same day, Russian occupiers launched an attack on Kryvyi Rih with ballistic missiles and strike drones. This time, energy facilities were affected, the head of the Poltava regional administration reported.
Also, at night, Russian occupiers attacked the Odesa region with drones, targeting civilian, energy, and transport facilities in our region.
Ukraine continues to face an escalation of actions by the invaders, who resort to drone attacks in various regions of the country, causing harm to the civilian population and infrastructure.
