Belarus does not record the movement of troops to the border: what border guards reported

Ukrainian border guards have not recorded active movement of Belarusian military equipment or personnel near the border with Ukraine. The spokesman for the State Border Guard Service Andriy Demchenko noted that there are currently no changes in the direction of the Ukrainian border.

“We do not record any changes in the direction of our border: neither the movement of equipment nor the movement of personnel,” — Andriy Demchenko.

At the same time, Belarus continues to provide political and military support to Russia in the war against Ukraine. This raises concerns as the country tries to manipulate the situation by shifting responsibility onto Ukraine. As Demchenko noted,

“Thus, Belarus is simply manipulating, trying to shift the responsibility onto our country and wants to forget the beginning of the full-scale invasion.”

Engineering arrangement of the border

In this regard, Ukraine is continuing the engineering arrangement of the state border in the areas bordering Belarus. Monitoring the situation at the border is an important component of security in the context of increasing tension in the region.

This information indicates that despite the absence of military activity at the border, the threat from Belarus remains relevant due to its support for Russia. Strengthening the engineering arrangement of the border may be a response to potential threats arising from the political and military manipulations of the Belarusian side. The situation at the border continues to be under the control of Ukrainian border guards, which is crucial for ensuring national security.
