Oleksandr Poyarovskyi was born on December 25, 1970, and lived his entire life in the city of Irpin. In March 2022, he stood up to defend Ukraine as part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

During a combat mission in the Donetsk region, in the Bakhmut district, near the settlement of Druzhba, on June 21, 2024, Oleksandr went missing. Searches lasted more than a year, and in August 2025, Oleksandr was found thanks to a DNA test, which officially confirmed his death. Oleksandr was 54 years old.

For most of his life, he worked at 'Ukrtelekom'. The last year before the beginning of the full-scale war was spent at the State Tax University.

According to Makeieva, Poyarovskyi was a loving father, a devoted husband, a sincere friend, and a true patriot. 'The life path of a warrior is an example of dignity, courage, and love for his homeland. The bright memory of him will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him,' she added.

Farewell to Oleksandr Poyarovskyi will take place today, September 5, 2025. The warrior will be buried at the Alley of Memory of defenders of Ukraine in his hometown of Irpin.
