In the Kharkiv region, near Vovchansk, Russian troops continue their offensive despite significant losses. This was reported by the chief communicator of the Joint Forces, Viktor Tregubov, during a telethon.
Situation in Vovchansk
The city of Vovchansk has turned into ruins due to prolonged fighting, during which many buildings have been destroyed. This complicates the defense, as there is no opportunity to properly strengthen positions due to constant attacks, including airstrikes.
'There are no so-called 'layered cakes' like in Kupiansk or Lyman. The Russians hold more defined positions but expend a lot of effort just to advance,' explained Tregubov.
Active military operations are taking place in the region, and residents have an urgent need for protection and humanitarian assistance.
