Shelling of Kamaliya's office complex

The business center owned by Ukrainian singer Kamaliya has once again suffered from a Russian strike — this is the fifth incident since May. The first incident occurred on May 14, followed by attacks on June 2 and the night of July 6. The latest attack, carried out using ballistic missiles, led to the complete destruction of the building and was part of a massive shelling of Kyiv. It is worth noting for the Russian-speaking audience that such strikes on civilian infrastructure, including office centers, have become regular during the conflict.

Consequences for the capital

Rescue operations in the Podilskyi and Darnytsia districts of Kyiv were completed on July 7. As a result of the shelling of the capital, 19 people died, including one child, and 61 people were injured. Footage from the scene shows a collapsed ceiling, broken furniture, and shattered windows, some of which had been boarded up after previous hits. These destructions highlight the recurring nature of attacks on the same targets.

Singer Kamaliya reacted to the incident: 'This is already the fifth attack on our business center since May 14. For some, this is 'collateral damage'. For us — destroyed labor, pain, and yet another scar of war.' - Kamaliya

These events illustrate not only the personal drama of entrepreneurs but also the overall picture in Ukraine, where many companies are suffering colossal losses due to hostilities. The war destroys not only infrastructure but also lives, underscoring the depth and protracted nature of the conflict. It is essential for Ukrainian society and international partners to recognize the scale of these losses and continue supporting efforts to rebuild the country.
