MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak stated that after the operation 'Midas', the business structures connected to the person involved in the case, Timur Mindych, are being massively re-registered under new nominal owners. According to him, this applies to both media assets and industrial enterprises as well as companies dealing with security and cash collection.

Zheleznyak reminds that Mindych already has a in absentia arrest and has been under sanctions for three years. Formally, he had not many assets: among the most well-known are the 'Kvartal 95' studio and the media business Vision TV. 'Kvartal 95', according to the MP, simply created a new legal entity without Mindych's involvement. Instead, the main schemes involve companies registered under straw figures and offshore entities, which are difficult to touch with Ukrainian sanctions.

Mindych's Business: Who is Being Removed from Companies

Zheleznyak provides several illustrative examples of asset re-registration:

  • former partner of Mindych, Igor Khmelov, the nominal owner of the brand clothing network Cameron, has withdrawn from the founders' composition, and the share has been re-registered to Petr Hulak, who is listed in the register as the founder of more than a hundred firms;
  • the manufacturer of drones FirePoint has been officially re-registered to Mr. Shtilerman, whereas the company was previously registered to his associate Yegor Skalyga;
  • the 'Izumrud' plant, which previously passed from the state to Kolomoisky's structures, then to Mindych, and then to the company Alpha Cross of Victoria Dedishcheva, has again changed its ownership structure after the scandal;
  • the company Sat Security, associated with the 'Priva' group and involved in cash collection in Sens Bank, changed its legal address immediately after the MP publicly drew attention to its connection with the 'Izumrud' plant at a TSK meeting.

Why a Quick Reaction from the Investigation is Needed

According to Zheleznyak, it is difficult to assess the full scale of Mindych's assets due to offshore schemes and 'understanding' agreements. Currently, the businessman's entourage is actively cleaning the registers to prevent property seizures during new suspicions. The MP believes that NABU and other bodies must accelerate the work on identifying the ultimate beneficiaries so that, in the long run, the state could recover at least part of the funds. He also announced the launch of a separate website 'Timur and his Team', where they plan to publish data about those associated with Mindych, including those who still work in the public sector.

Earlier, we reported how MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak stated that he identified who exactly prepared the so-called 'Mindych folders' - a mass of documents on officials found in the office of Mironyuk.
