Ukrainian blogger Anna Alkhim has received a fine of 67.2 million UAH for promoting a casino on social media. She has three months to pay the fine or appeal the decision. PlayCity identified violations in her advertising content where she promoted a casino to an audience of half a million on Instagram.
Fines for incorrect casino advertising are imposed on everyone who violates the rules. The head of PlayCity emphasized that the fight against illegal advertising continues. Other bloggers have also faced sanctions, but Anna Alkhim plans to move to the United Arab Emirates and live in Dubai without any intention of returning to Ukraine.
Blogger Anna Alkhim will have to address the issue of paying the fine or appealing the decision while she plans to settle in another country, avoiding potential consequences in her own country.
