Ukrainians honor the memory of those who died as a result of the Russian-Ukrainian war every day at 9 a.m. Today we remember Mykhailo Kochut.



Mykhailo Kochut died at the front on July 13, 2025. He was a defender from Lviv region. This tragic event was reported to the Lviv City Council, as stated by the news '

Mykhailo Kochut was born on December 8, 1969, in the village of Volia-Vysotska in the Zhovkva district of Lviv region. After completing his studies at the local school, he entered a vocational school. He then served in the army.



Working as a combine driver and truck driver in Lviv, Mykhailo was known for his hard work and fairness. His relatives called him kind and brave.



In 2022, he went to the front for the freedom of Ukraine, where he fought as part of a separate brigade of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. For his courage and selflessness, Mykhailo was awarded several medals from the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.



His tragedy left a wife, two sons, a daughter, a son-in-law, and a brother with a family in grief. Eternal memory to the hero who gave his life for the freedom of his country.
