Hero Alexander Teplov died in battle for Ukraine: the story of a Lviv resident

Every day at 9 AM Ukrainians honor the memory of all whose lives were taken by the Russo-Ukrainian war. Today we remember Alexander Teplov, a Lviv resident who died defending Ukraine in 2025.



Alexander Teplov was born on April 2, 1979, in Lviv. He received his education as a psychologist at the Ternopil Experimental Institute of Pedagogical Education. According to relatives, he was a kind and calm person, and even during the war, he remained attentive and sociable.



Alexander joined the service to defend his homeland from the Russian occupiers. He defended the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine as part of the 42nd Separate Mechanized Brigade. After his death, he was buried at Lychakiv Cemetery, among other Heroes.


Alexander is survived by his mother, father, and brother.



The Commander-in-Chief joins in a moment of silence, honoring the memory of all Ukrainians who died in the war. In a world of memory and sorrow, we remember the citizens of Ukraine who became victims of the conflict – military, civilian, and even children, who perished in the fight against the enemies of Ukraine.


Ukrainians continue to honor the memory of the fallen defenders, among whom is the calm and kind Alexander Teplov. His bravery and selflessness inspire many to continue the struggle for the freedom and independence of the state. His memory will remain in the hearts of his fellow countrymen forever.
