In Lviv, a farewell was held for defender Petro Kleba: he died in Donetsk

Every day at 9 a.m., Ukrainians honor the memory of all those whose lives were taken by the Russo-Ukrainian war. Today we remember Petro Kleba.


Defender of Ukraine Petro Kleba died on November 18, 2024, while performing a combat mission near the settlement of Novosadove in the Donetsk region. This was reported by 'Glavkom' citing the Lviv City Council.


Petro Kleba, born on June 26, 1968, in Lviv, had military and vocational education. His well-known traits were kindness, honesty, fairness, sincerity, and patriotism. Petro Kleba participated in the war in Donbas and received the 'Veteran of War' medal.



Petro Kleba is survived by a wife, three daughters, a father, a sister with her family, and a brother with his family.


Petro Kleba was buried on September 3 at the Lychakiv Cemetery, in the field of Honorary Burials of modern Heroes. His relatives and loved ones will always remember him as a loyal husband, father, and patriot who gave his life for the freedom and independence of Ukraine.


During the moment of silence, 'Glavkom' honors the memory of all Ukrainians who were killed at the hands of Russian invaders, giving a bright memory to the heroes who stood in the way of the enemy and defended the independence of the country.
