Defender of Ukraine Petro Toporin died on November 17, 2025. This was reported by 'Hlavkom' citing the Lviv City Council.
Petro Toporin was born on January 28, 1983, in Lviv. He studied at the Vyacheslav Chornovil Lyceum No. 46 of the Lviv City Council. Later, he obtained the profession of a crane operator at the Interregional Higher Professional School of Automotive Transport and Construction.
He worked as a driver at private enterprises.
According to relatives, Petro was cheerful and sociable, distinguished by a kind and family-oriented character. He loved driving and always created a warm and friendly atmosphere around him.
Struggle for the Homeland
In 2023, he stood up to defend his homeland from the invasion of Russian occupiers. He defended the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine in the Dnipropetrovsk and Donetsk directions as part of the 5th Separate Assault Brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The defender was buried on December 9, 2025, at the Holoskovskyi cemetery, in the veterans' field 34-V.
Petro Toporin is survived by his mother, brother, and family.
