Vertical Aerospace has entered into a partnership with Near Earth Autonomy to equip the Valo aircraft with autonomous capabilities. This collaboration aims to drive technological progress in both defense and commercial aviation, highlighting the critical role of integrating cutting-edge innovations into modern aerial platforms. A memorandum of understanding has been signed between the companies, paving the way for future joint ventures.

Technological Milestones

Near Earth Autonomy brings over a decade of expertise in autonomous aviation. The firm has previously developed flight systems for the U.S. Army, the U.S. Marine Corps, and Honeywell Aerospace. Its technologies have supported operations of the UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter and Leonardo's AW139, underscoring the reliability of its offerings.
