Ukraine is exploring the possibility of introducing a temporary reservation for individuals who have violated military accounting rules, particularly for employees of the defense industry. According to lawyer Yuriy Tanasyiichuk, the new measure is aimed at preserving specialists with unique knowledge who work in ammunition production.
'I would not extend this rule to any other critical enterprises besides defense ones. This is necessary only to preserve specialists with unique knowledge who are truly working for the defense of the country,' Tanasyiichuk emphasized.
Specific situations of halting ammunition production during mobilization of narrow-profile specialists served as the reason for this initiative. However, the issue of implementing and the scope of temporary reservation is currently still under discussion.
