According to the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, only the intervention of US President Donald Trump can help stop the hostilities in Ukraine. Kyrylo Budanov emphasized the importance of the American leader's actions and expressed hope that this situation could change for the better with his participation.
Noting that the war waged by Russia against Ukraine is one of the bloodiest in history since World War II, he also highlighted the wide range of types of weaponry involved, apart from nuclear weapons.
In turn, US President Donald Trump acknowledged his failure in attempts to end the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, as well as expressed doubt in his ability to influence the Kremlin leader on this issue.
