The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov commented on the effectiveness of Ukrainian strikes on Russian oil refineries and their impact on Russia's ability to continue the war. 'I have no desire to argue with analysts', he noted during an interview.

According to analysts, Ukrainian strikes on Russian oil refineries have inflicted significant damage on Russia's energy infrastructure. The most extensive damage was caused to the oil extraction sector. This indicates the success of Ukraine's operations and its ability to damage the Russian military economy.

Impact on Russia's military economy

While the strikes have led to significant damage, the head of the GUR emphasized that the Russian war machine has not yet suffered critical weakening. He noted that Russia continues to finance its war through economic resources, thus the strikes need to continue.

However, considering the increase in Ukraine's striking potential, a strengthening of operations is possible. Budanov emphasizes the growth of the capabilities of Ukrainian forces, which will allow for increased pressure on Russian infrastructure.

According to analyses and comments from the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine, Ukrainian strikes on Russian oil refineries are starting to show their effectiveness and impact on Russia's ability to continue waging war. This may indicate further escalation of tension and military actions between Ukraine and Russia.
