Ukrainian Presidential Office Head on War and Peace
In an interview with Almodon, Kyrylo Budanov, the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, stated that the war in Ukraine has been ongoing since 2014. He argued that the sole path to a secure peace lies in the disintegration of the Russian Federation. Budanov emphasized that eradicating Russia's imperial ambitions is a prerequisite for achieving regional stability. He asserted that Russia's territory should give way to several independent national states, each capable of ensuring the well-being of its own people.
He further noted that creating such conditions would guarantee greater security for Ukraine, Europe, and the entire world.
'The only constant has been the imperial ambitions. And it is precisely this that must be completely eradicated to make Russia a civilized country,' stressed Kyrylo Budanov.
