Russia will become a serious threat to Europe by 2030

Head of the military intelligence of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov warned that Russia will become a serious threat to European countries in the future due to the large-scale rearmament of its army. He emphasized this in an interview for 'Khylya'.

According to Budanov, currently, Russia is not yet a direct threat to Ukraine's partner European countries, but this may change by 2030. 'This is an absolute reality,' he noted.

Large-scale rearmament of Russia

In his assessment of Russia's military plans, Budanov indicated that the rearmament program is planned until 2037 with active actions until 2030. According to the intelligence chief, the approximate budget for this program is $1.2 trillion, making it the largest since the existence of the USSR.

  • The program is related to the rearmament of the Russian army and has the largest scale in recent decades.

Assessment of prospects

Regarding the possibility of a change in political course in Russia, Budanov expressed doubt, stating that it will not affect the country's strategy. He previously noted that the power in the Kremlin is a real machine that cannot be stopped.

During the interview, the head of military intelligence of Ukraine expressed outrage and concern about the growing threat that Russia may pose to Europe by 2030 due to the large-scale rearmament of its army. He pointed out that this situation requires attention and real measures to prevent possible conflicts.
