Every day at 9 AM, Ukrainians honor the memory of all those whose lives were taken by the Russo-Ukrainian war. Today we remember Natalia Ilnytska.
On August 10, while performing a combat mission near Ridkodub, Natalia Ilnytska was killed. The tragic news was reported by the mayor of Irpin, Oleksandr Markushyn, as reported by 'Hlavkom'.
Natalia was born in Vorzel but spent most of her life in Irpin. The defender was 47 years old. She worked hard all her life, dedicating over ten years to the company 'Ecosoft'. When the enemy struck the enterprise in March 2022, Natalia and her colleagues personally began to clear the rubble.
That same year, she completed training for civilian resistance and joined the Bucha Territorial Community Volunteer Formation. Natalia was one of the first four fighters of the mobile fire group of the air defense unit 'Buchanskie Witches'.
She stood guard over the skies of Kyiv region, shooting down enemy drones and saving the lives of civilians.
Later, she joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine, where in the UAV regiment 'Achilles' she inflicted significant losses on the enemy in eastern Ukraine.
Natalia is survived by two children, her mother, brother, and a husband who still defends Ukraine in the ranks of the Armed Forces.
'Hlavkom'joins in a moment of silence. We honor the memory of all Ukrainians who died in the fight for their homeland. We remember those who perished at the hands of Russian invaders, lighting candles in memory and bowing our heads in grief during the nationwide moment of silence, honoring the bright memory of citizens of Ukraine who gave their lives for the freedom and independence of the state: all the military, civilians, and children, all who perished in the struggle against Russian occupiers and as a result of the attack by enemy troops on Ukrainian cities and villages.
Honoring the memory of Natalia Ilnytska, we remember her magnificent life dedicated to the defense of Ukraine and the struggle for its freedom and independence.
