Price increase for beauty services in Ukraine
The beauty market in Ukraine demonstrates a significant price increase, exceeding the official inflation rate. The average increase in prices for the 15 most popular procedures during the period from September to November 2024-2025 amounted to 33.6%. More than 260,000 prices were analyzed, collected from 19,000 profiles of beauty masters and salons in 22 regional centers.
Regional price fluctuations
Regional data indicate substantial price fluctuations for beauty services. The highest growth was recorded in:
- Kropyvnytskyi — 61.6%
- Zhytomyr — 59.4%
- Kherson — 44.0%
- Chernihiv — 42.3%
- Mykolaiv — 41.9%
- Cherkasy — 41.3%
- Vinnytsia — 40.6%
Kyiv showed a price increase of 20.3%, while Odesa recorded the smallest increase — 10.8%.
Among specific procedures, the highest price increases were observed for:
- Complex hair coloring — 50.0%
- Anti-cellulite massage — 44.7%
- Eyelash extensions — 44.1%
- Facial cleansing — 37.9%
- Mesotherapy — 33.3%
- Injectable procedures, such as Botox — 16.1%
- Laser hair removal — 7.7%
Thus, the beauty market in Ukraine continues to experience significant pressure from rising prices, driven by both internal and external economic factors.
The increase in prices for beauty services may indicate overall trends in the country's economy, where inflationary processes affect the consumer market.
Consumers may face the need to reconsider their spending on beauty services, which could lead to changes in their preferences and demand for certain procedures. At the same time, beauty salons and masters may be forced to seek new ways to attract clients to maintain their competitiveness in the face of rising prices.
