Budget-2026: 111.5 billion UAH of public investments in 12 key areas

Budget for 2026

The budget for 2026 anticipates 111.5 billion UAH of public investments to be allocated across 12 key areas. This budget will facilitate the development of various sectors of the economy and social infrastructure.

Investment Distribution

The largest portion of investments will be directed towards transport infrastructure - 41.2 billion UAH. Healthcare will receive 19.1 billion UAH, while 17 billion UAH will be allocated for education and science. The energy sector will have 13.6 billion UAH from the budget, as well as 22.1 billion UAH under state guarantees. Municipal infrastructure and utilities will receive 9.4 billion UAH, while social facilities will get 5.7 billion UAH. The State Regional Development Fund will allocate 2 billion UAH for the development of regions and communities, while other areas will receive 3.5 billion UAH.

The planned investments in the 2026 budget underline the government's priorities in the development of key industries that can positively impact economic growth and social well-being. In particular, the focus on transport infrastructure indicates intentions to improve logistical connections and ensure accessibility for regions, while substantial funds allocated for healthcare and education may enhance the quality of life for the population and raise the competitiveness of the country. Thus, this budget could serve as a foundation for the further recovery and development of Ukraine amidst modern challenges.
