Ukraine received a Black Hawk UH-60 helicopter from Czech volunteers. The Czech initiative Darek pro Putin raised funds for its purchase, attracting donations from 20 thousand people, including Slovaks.
'The Black Hawk UH-60 helicopter is in Ukraine. Thank you to everyone who believed in this and made their contribution. There were over 20 thousand of you. Today, the Czech Republic became the first country in the world whose citizens donated a helicopter to Ukraine. Many Slovaks also helped. It was an honor for us,' the statement said.
The volunteers also showed photos of the transferred helicopter.
Let us remind you that in March it became known that the Czech initiative Dárek pro Putina raised funds to purchase a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter for the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
It is worth noting that Ukrainians have become more acceptable neighbors for Czechs than Russians, as revealed in the backdrop of recent events.
