Tomorrow, October 29, some regions of Ukraine will limit electricity consumption due to Russian missile and drone attacks on energy facilities. Schedules for outages and power restrictions have already been developed:
- from 08:00 to 22:00 - disconnection for 0.5-1.5 hours according to the schedule;
- from 07:00 to 22:00 - restrictions for industry.
Changes in the timing and volume of restrictions are not ruled out. Follow the news on the websites of your regional electricity suppliers, - warns the official message.
As a result of previous attacks, the energy system has collapsed in several regions. Emergency repair works are ongoing, but it is worth being prepared for a possible reduction in electricity consumption.
Russia is rapidly increasing the level of attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure, using cheap drones and missiles to hit the grid. The goal of the Kremlin is to destroy this system, especially during the winter period, to make life impossible in certain regions of the country.
Recent Russian attacks on Ukraine's energy sector have led to an increase in prices for generators and charging stations. The authorities called on stores to stop the illegal price hikes on equipment.
