More than 2,000 representatives from over 1,000 communities were trained to work with the functionality of the Urban Development Cadastre at the national level (UDC). This was reported by the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development.
According to the agency, during the meetings, participants learned the key capabilities of the system:
entry of project and current urban planning documentation into the UDC;
utilization of digital tools for decision-making in the field of urban planning and construction;
working with geodata databases and reviewing data uploaded to urban planning documentation projects.
At the end of each session, an interactive Q&A block was conducted. Additionally, initial results of the Urban Development Cadastre's activities at the national level are already available:
2,244 sets of current urban planning documentation have been uploaded to the UDC;
information on 455 urban planning documentation projects has been started to be entered. These include digital maps and data uploaded by communities, of which 61 sets of geodata have already passed the system's verification.
Importance of the Urban Development Cadastre
The UDC serves as a digital foundation for implementing key state programs in the field of reconstruction and territorial development. Based on the cadastre, the following work:
- Single state electronic system in the field of construction
- Register of damaged and destroyed property (RDPP)
- DREAM digital ecosystem
- 'eRecovery' program
Thus, communities receive a modern tool for transparent management of territories and planning of reconstruction based on quality digital data. Online training lasted five months and covered communities and local administrations in 23 regions of Ukraine, conducted by experts of the State Enterprise 'Administrator of the Urban Development Cadastre at the national level.'
The Ministry of Community and Territorial Development reported that over 2,000 representatives from more than 1,000 communities successfully completed training on working in the Urban Development Cadastre at the national level. The result of this digital training was the uploading of a significant amount of urban planning documentation to the system, which will facilitate transparent management of territories and infrastructure in Ukraine.
