Digitalization of Military Records in Ukraine
The digitalization of military records in Ukraine has gained new momentum due to the automation of the process of exchanging medical conclusions. Now, medical conclusions received after undergoing the military medical commission automatically get into the 'Oberih' database. Military personnel can easily check their status through their smartphones, significantly simplifying access to important information.
Data Exchange Automation
The head of the Central Military Medical Commission, Dmytro Miroshnychenko, announced the launch of automatic data exchange that allows integrating information with the 'Rezerv+' application. The user's profile displays the doctors' verdict on fitness for duty or unfitness, as well as the date of the medical examination. The use of electronic signatures makes the process transparent and understandable for all participants.
Although the digitalization of medical conclusions is becoming the norm, doctors continue to maintain traditional medical records and archives as a backup system. Paper certificates of medical commission results are gradually losing their relevance, indicating a shift towards more modern and effective methods of maintaining military records.
This initiative is part of a broader digitalization strategy in Ukraine aimed at modernizing public services and increasing their accessibility. The implementation of modern technologies in military records helps reduce bureaucratic barriers and improve communication between military structures and the public. Given the current challenges, such innovations can significantly contribute to optimizing the work of military commissions and enhancing the country's readiness for defense.
